About Me

I hold an MSc. and Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy, and I am a full clinical member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy.  The Online Therapy Institute has certified me as a Cyber Therapist.

I began practising as a psychotherapist in 2014.  Prior to working as a therapist, I worked for many years as a Producer at the BBC.  Outside of work, I volunteered for the British Red Cross as a First Aider, and at various Crisis shelters during Christmas.

In 2010 I took a career break and travelled to Africa, where I spent time in Senegal, Kenya and Namibia living with locals and volunteering at a children's school, an orphanage, and on a wildlife conservation reserve.

In 2018 I spent six months with the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust as a chaplain on a ward for patients diagnosed with treatment-resistant psychosis.

I am deeply appreciative of the opportunities all these experiences have given me to spend time with, and learn from, people from so many different walks of life.
